Following 50 years of study and training at various colleges and with numerous instructors, Lavinia excels in using acrylic as transparent watercolor. She spent 5 years perfecting this technique; one that offers lasting color and durability to the bright and dramatic colors reflected in her paintings.
Lavinia is a founder and honorary lifetime member of the San Antonio Watercolor Group, a past member of the Texas Fine Art Association, a member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, the Hill Country Arts Foundation and the Texas Watercolor Society. She is constantly expanding her horizons and enhancing her portfolio with international travel.
