She exhibits exclusively at her own gallery, a 100-year old building overlooking the banks of the Guadalupe River. An inveterale gardener, she has set the courtyard of her studio/gallery ablaze with flowering color. The artist and her "Old" Ingram Gallery have appeared in numerous magazine articles, and she has done four television shows. A special segment of "Eyes of Texas" was made about her and Old Ingram Loop.
   She is a founder and honorary lifetime member of the San Antonio Watercolor Group, a past member of the Texas Fine Arts Association, and a member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, the Hill Country Arts Foundation and the Texas Watercolor Society.
   Lavinia has participated in international museum shows, and she has recently been invited to show her work in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. She has spent time painting on the Greek Islands, Mexico and Italy. Each experience has widened her horizons.
